Common Questions
Do you provide home inspections outside Penticton?
Yes. We proudly serve homeowners, buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals throughout the South Okanagan, including Summerland, Naramata, Okanagan Falls, Oliver, Osoyoos, and surrounding communities.
What types of homes do you inspect?
We inspect a wide range of residential properties, including single-family homes, condos, townhomes, and new construction builds.
What is included in a home inspection?
A standard home inspection ia a visual, non-invasive inspection that covers the major systems of the home, including the roof, foundation, exterior, plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, insulation, and interior components.
How long does a home inspection take?
Most condos take a couple hours but most average houses can take anywhere from 4-5hrs or more, depending on the size, age, and condition of the property.
When will I receive my inspection report?
You will receive a detailed, easy-to-understand report, within 24 hours after the inspection, outlining findings, notes, and any areas of concern.
Do you check for code compliance?
As Inspections are visual, non-invasive inspections, home inspections performed by our company are not intended to determine compliance with municipal, provincial, or national building codes. Any comments regarding safety or workmanship are based on industry standards and professional judgment, not a formal code compliance review.
Do I need to be present during the inspection?
No, you are not required to be present during the inspection. However, I do encourage you to join me for a walk-through at the end. During the walk-through, I’ll review the most important findings, explain any areas of concern or recommended maintenance, and answer any questions you may have so you leave with a clear understanding of the home’s condition.
